Hello, I have a PC with Ryzen 7 CPU and Nvidia RTX 2060 Super that gets lots and lots of GPU task but ALL fail. Looking into the failed tasks says only: <core_client_version>7.16.7</core_client_version> That's all. Another PC has an Intel i7 and Nvidia RTX 2070 which rarely gets any GPU tasks but if it gets then ALL are successful. Here it says: <core_client_version>7.16.11</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <stderr_txt> .... So what is the problem that all tasks fails for the first one? Does this version say something about it? Thanks. |

Is this a typical result for this machine? https://www.mlcathome.org/mlcathome/result.php?resultid=3342237 On some machines, the client simply fails to run with an uninformative error message. We can't reproduce it locally. It has something to do with the environment (installed DLLs) in some windows systems. It seems to be pretty random what causes it, and with nothing more than an error "(unknown error) - exit code -1073741512 (0xc0000138)" its awfully hard to track down. It has something to do with a DLL mismatch, but that's as far as we've been able to track down. I'm afraid the GPU client is unlikely to work on this machine until we can figure this out, and until we get a lead, since we can't reproduce it locally, I'm not sure how long that will be. |
