There are 80 billion neurons in the human brain. We do a rough calculation of the digital brain. Each neuron is 1 bit.

80,000,000,000

That's 80 billion bits. (neurons)

Multiplying 80 billion bits by 80 billion bits, we get the number of all kinds of connections in the brain.

64000000000000000000

link bits

each neuron generates an electrical impulse 200 times per second. We multiply by another 200. We get

12800000000000000000000 bit links
in sec

We translate bits into tarabytes.

1455191522 TERABYTE OF DATA PER SEC

one billion four hundred fifty-five million one hundred ninety-one thousand five hundred twenty-two Terabytes per second.

And this, without knowing how much this brain will think. hours, days, months before opening.

Let's think about what computing resources we need to model the brain? How much data will this brain generate, even if it's a quantum pc?
