Hi I have a PI4 that I've set to run boinc full time. For temp management, I idle it a few minutes every hour by suspending all tasks and resuming them after 4 minutes. I use boinccmd $PROJECT_URL suspend. For world community grid, this works. Today I setup MLC@home on the PI, and I'm seeing that even though I suspend the tasks, they still keep running, causing my PI to overheat. Looking at boinccmd state the tasks are clearly suspended, but they are each taking up 100% of their core on the PI. Any idea why this might be happening? Thanks! |
