I have 2 pretty much identical dual Opteron systems running Ubuntu. Both did fine with 9.20 but all errors with 9.50

While you're waiting on a real fix, if you want to work around the issue, you can set the environment variable:

OPENBLAS_CORETYPE=ATHLON

(or "GENERIC" instead of "ATHLON" if you want).

If you set that as part of the boinc user's environment and restart BOINC, it should allow the app to work until I can get a version of the app compiled with a true fix.

It'll continue to work if you don't undo it, it'll just be a little less efficient.
