... Sorry, I know that's not the best answer, but its the only one I can give at the moment.

I understand and I am okay with that. I do appreciate it that you have taken time from your schedule to reply.

Keep up the good work!

check if the VC 2015 (x64) redistributable runtime is installed in the system.
probably libraries coming with the application are not compatible with your system

I have the most recent (14.25.28508) MS Visual C 2015-2019 (x64) and (x86) redistributable runtimes installed on the Vista x64 PC. Had toinstall them about 2 months ago for another project.

I found this entry in the Windows System Error Log for the task. Maybe the project owner/ / admin can look at the error message below.
I'm willing to try and debug the problem using ProcExplorer, DependancyWalker or any other tool.
Faulting application mlds_0.920_windows_x86_64.exe, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x5f02f081, faulting module KERNEL32.dll!GetCurrentProcessorNumberEx, version 6.0.6003.20512, time stamp 0x5cb5f176, exception code 0xc0000139, fault offset 0x00000000000b6698, process id 0x16e4, application start time 0x01d654f383886af0

No big loss if it won;t work. This would not be the first project that will not run on that old boat anchor.

Guess I should have looked a bit closer as my Windows Vista X64 PC had not received any test work and when finally did the results all failed immediately upon start up.

Example: https://www.mlcathome.org/mlcathome/result.php?resultid=113680
Exit status -1073741511 (0xC0000139) STATUS_ENTRYPOINT_NOT_FOUND.
